Bahauddin meaning
Bahauddin (بہاءالدین) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Splendour of the faith (bahāʾ, beauty, majesty + dīn, religion)
Also used to mean: glory of the religion
Bahauddin (بہاءالدین) is the South Asian form of Arabic Bahāʾ al-Dīn. In Lane's lexicon bahāʾ is beauty or goodliness, especially a fine appearance that draws admiration, and when used of God it means greatness or majesty; dīn is religion, from a root meaning obedience. Together they give "splendour of the faith", the meaning found on name lists. Two great Sufis carried the name: Bahauddin Zakariya of Multan, the 13th-century saint who led the Suhrawardi order in the subcontinent, and Bahāʾ al-Dīn Naqshband (1318–1389) of Bukhara, after whom the Naqshbandi order is named.
