Hasnain meaning
Hasnain (حسنین) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
'the two Hasans': Hasan and Husain together (dual of ḥasan, 'good, beautiful')
Also used to mean: the two good ones
Hasnain (حسنین) is the Arabic dual ḥasanayn, "the two Hasans", from ḥasan, "good, beautiful". Lane's lexicon defines ḥasan as good, comely or pleasing, and records Ḥusayn as its diminutive. Arabic often names a famous pair by the dual of one name, and al-Ḥasanayn means the Prophet's grandsons Hasan and Husain together. Indian Muslim families, Shia and Sunni, give the name in their memory, and name lists explain it as "the two good ones" or "Hasan and Husain". It is used only for boys.
