Kaleem meaning
Kaleem (کلیم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
One who speaks with another, an interlocutor; a close companion
Also used to mean: eloquent
Kaleem (کلیم) is the Arabic kalīm, from the root k-l-m that gives kalima, "a word", and kalām, "speech". Platts's Urdu dictionary defines kalīm as one who speaks with another, an interlocutor or close companion, and records kalīmullāh, "one who speaks with God", as a title of the Prophet Musa (Moses). The title echoes Quran 4:164, which says that God spoke to Moses directly. Name lists give Kaleem as "one who speaks" or "eloquent". The name is used on its own and in the fuller form Kaleemullah.
