Dabeer meaning
Dabeer (دبیر) is a Muslim boy's name of Persian origin.
A writer, secretary, notary; a writing-master
Also used to mean: teacher, instructor
Dabeer (دبیر) is the Persian dabīr, which Steingass's dictionary defines as a writer, secretary or notary, and also a writing-master; dabīr-i falak, the scribe of the heavens, was a poetic name for the planet Mercury. Name lists usually give "teacher" or "instructor", which follows from the writing-master sense. The name is famous in Urdu literature through Mirza Salamat Ali Dabeer (1803–1875), who, with Mir Anis, was one of the two great masters of the marsiya, the elegy on Karbala, in 19th-century Lucknow; Dabeer was his pen name.
