Kalpesh (कल्पेश) joins Sanskrit kalpa with īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams gives kalpa as able or competent, as a sacred rule or ordinance, as an aeon or day of Brahmā, and in kalpataru as the wish-granting tree of paradise. Name lists usually give Kalpesh as "lord of perfection" or "lord of imagination". We could not find a sense of perfection or imagination for kalpa in the dictionaries, so those glosses appear to be modern; read strictly, the parts give something like "lord of the ages" or "lord of sacred rules".
