Udyan meaning
Udyan (उद्यान) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, उ, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
A park, garden; going out; purpose
Udyan (उद्यान) is the Sanskrit udyāna, from the verb ud-yā, "to go out". Its first sense was the act of going out or walking out, and from there it came to mean the place one walks out to: a park or a royal pleasure garden, as in the Rāmāyaṇa and in Kālidāsa's plays. Monier-Williams also records it as a purpose or motive. Name lists give Udyan as "garden" or "park", the main dictionary sense, and in Hindi udyān is still the formal word for a garden, as in the Amrit Udyan of Rashtrapati Bhavan. It is a nature-themed name.
