Shivaditya meaning
Shivaditya (शिवादित्य) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Śiva-sun (śiva + āditya 'the sun'); the name of a Nyāya author
Also used to mean: sun of Shiva
Shivaditya (शिवादित्य) joins Śiva with āditya, "the sun", originally one of the sons of the goddess Aditi. The name reads as Śiva and the sun together, and name lists give "sun of Shiva". Monier-Williams records Śivāditya, with the surname Miśra, as the name of a scholar also called Nyāyācārya, "teacher of logic", a writer in the Nyāya school of Indian philosophy. It is a modern-sounding Shiva name used in north India.
