Vaibhav meaning
Vaibhav (वैभव) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Might, power; greatness; grandeur, glory, magnificence
Also used to mean: prosperity
Vaibhav (वैभव) is the Sanskrit vaibhava, a noun formed from vibhava, "power, greatness". Monier-Williams gives vaibhava as might and power, high position and greatness, superhuman power, and grandeur, glory and magnificence. In Hindi and Marathi vaibhav is also an everyday word for splendour, opulence and riches, which is why name lists add "prosperity" to the dictionary's "glory". The parent word vibhava itself carries the sense of wealth and fortune. The name is used by Hindu families across North and West India.
