Dharmesh meaning
Dharmesh (धर्मेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of dharma; the same as Dharmendra, a name of Yama
Also used to mean: upholder of righteousness
Dharmesh (धर्मेश) is the Sanskrit dharmeśa, from dharma, "law, right, duty", and īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams treats it as another form of dharmendra, "lord of justice", a title of Yama, and cites it from the Skanda-purāṇa. Indian name lists give "lord of dharma" or "one who upholds righteousness". Dharma itself is first explained in Monier-Williams as "that which is established or firm", and from there law, duty and virtue. Dharmesh is used in Gujarat and western India.
