Aaroh meaning
Aaroh (आरोह) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Ascent, rising; elevation, height; increase
Aaroh (आरोह) is Sanskrit āroha, from ruh, "to climb, to grow", with ā-. Monier-Williams gives ascent and rising, an elevated place or height, and increase; he also lists a rider, someone mounted on a horse or seated in a carriage, and, less kindly, pride. In Indian classical music the word is used for the ascending scale of a raga, the notes as they climb from Sa to the upper Sa. Baby-name lists give Aaroh as "ascent" or "rising", in line with the dictionary, and it pairs with the girl's name Aarohi.
