Harshul meaning
Harshul (हर्षुल) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Cheerful, delighted; a lover; a deer; a name of the Buddha
Also used to mean: joyful
Harshul (हर्षुल) is the Sanskrit adjective harṣula, built on harṣa, "joy". Monier-Williams gives it as disposed to be cheerful or happy, delighted, citing the Mahābhārata and the Kashmiri chronicle Rājataraṅgiṇī. The old lexicons add three noun senses: a lover, a deer, and a name of the Buddha. Name lists today mostly give "joyful" or "happy", and some give "deer"; both are real senses of the word. It is related to Harsh and Harshit, and has a genuine classical pedigree.
