Manomay (मनोमय) is Sanskrit manomaya, from manas, "mind", and -maya, "made of". Monier-Williams gives "consisting of mind or spirit, mental, spiritual", a word used in the Shatapatha Brahmana and the Upanishads. In the Taittiriya Upanishad the manomaya kosha is the sheath of mind, one of the five layers of the self. Name lists today often give Manomay as "one who wins hearts" or "conqueror of hearts"; we could not find that sense in the dictionaries, so it appears to be a modern meaning. Some lists give the closer "of the mind".
