Pratyaksh meaning
Pratyaksh (प्रत्यक्ष) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Before the eyes, visible, perceptible; clear, direct, actual; direct perception
Also used to mean: evident
Pratyaksh (प्रत्यक्ष) is the Sanskrit pratyakṣa, literally "before the eyes", from prati, "towards", and akṣa, "eye". Monier-Williams gives it as visible and perceptible, and as clear, direct, actual and real. In Indian philosophy pratyakṣa is direct perception, the first of the pramāṇas or valid means of knowledge in the Nyaya school. In Hindi the word still means "in person, evident, direct". Name lists give "perceptible", "evident" or "clear", which matches the dictionary. It is used by Hindi-speaking families.
