Arth meaning
Arth (अर्थ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, अ, it is a Mesh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Aim, purpose; meaning, sense; wealth, property
Arth (अर्थ) is Sanskrit artha, one of the richest words in the language. Monier-Williams gives aim and purpose, cause and motive, advantage and use, substance, wealth and property, and the sense or meaning of a word. In Hindu thought artha is also one of the four aims of life, alongside dharma, kāma and mokṣa, standing for prosperity and worldly success; Kauṭilya's Arthaśāstra, the classic treatise on statecraft, takes its name from it. Baby-name lists give Arth as "meaning", "purpose" or "wealth", all of which match the dictionary.
