Lakshmipati meaning
Lakshmipati (लक्ष्मीपति) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord or husband of Lakshmi; a king; a name of Vishnu-Krishna
Also used to mean: lord of Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu
Lakshmipati (लक्ष्मीपति) is Sanskrit lakṣmīpati, "husband or lord of Lakshmi", from the goddess's name and pati, "lord, husband". Monier-Williams records it as a name of Vishnu and Krishna, Lakshmi's consort, and, because Lakshmi also stands for royal fortune, as a word for a king or prince. Name lists give the same meaning, "lord of Lakshmi". The name is used in the Telugu states, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, where it is written Lakshmipathi. Lakshmipati Tirtha was a saint in the Dvaita lineage of Madhvacharya.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Vishnu.
