Vishweshwar meaning
Vishweshwar (विश्वेश्वर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of the universe; a form of Shiva worshipped at Benares
Also used to mean: lord shiva
Vishweshwar (विश्वेश्वर) is Sanskrit viśveśvara, "lord of all" or "lord of the universe", from viśva, "all, the whole world", and īśvara, "lord". Monier-Williams records it as a form of Shiva worshipped especially at Benares, and as a name borne by many authors and other men. The Kashi Vishweshwar or Vishwanath temple in Varanasi is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and devout Marathi families have long named sons after the god of Kashi. Name lists give "lord of the universe", matching the dictionary.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
