Pranshu meaning
Pranshu (प्रांशु) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
High, tall, long; strong, intense
Pranshu (प्रांशु) is the Sanskrit prāṃśu, an adjective meaning high, tall or long; in one classical poem it also means strong or intense. Kalidasa uses the word in the Raghuvamsha for King Dilipa's towering frame. The Harivamsha and the Puranas name Prāṃśu as a son of Manu Vaivasvata, ancestor of the solar dynasty. Name lists give "tall" or "lofty", the same as the dictionary. Pranshu is used by Hindi-speaking families, and Pranshi is a related girls' name.
