Yuvan meaning
Yuvan (युवन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Young, youthful; strong, healthy; a young man
Yuvan (युवन) is Sanskrit yuvan, "young, youthful", and also "strong, healthy, good"; as a noun it means a youth or young man. Monier-Williams cites it from the Ṛgveda onward and notes that in the Veda it is often applied to gods, especially Indra, Agni and the Maruts. MW also lists its relatives in other Indo-European languages, among them Latin juvenis, German jung and English young, so the name shares a root with the English word. Indian name lists give Yuvan as young or youthful, which matches the dictionary. It is a boy's name, and a well-known bearer is the Tamil film composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, son of Ilaiyaraaja.
