Triloknath meaning
Triloknath (त्रिलोकनाथ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of the three worlds; Indra; Shiva
Also used to mean: Lord Shiva
Triloknath (त्रिलोकनाथ) is the Sanskrit trilokanātha, "lord of the three worlds", from triloka, "the three worlds", and nātha, "lord". Monier-Williams records it as a title of Indra in Kālidāsa's Raghuvaṃśa and of Śiva in his Kumārasambhava. The three worlds are usually heaven, the earth and the region between or below. Name lists give "lord of the three worlds" or "Lord Shiva", which matches. The Trilokinath temple in Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh, sacred to Hindus and Buddhists alike, uses a closely related form, and Trilokinath is also a spelling of the name.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
