Trinayan meaning
Trinayan (त्रिनयन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Three-eyed; an epithet of Shiva
Also used to mean: Lord Shiva
Trinayan (त्रिनयन) is the Sanskrit trinayana, "three-eyed", from tri, "three", and nayana, "eye". Monier-Williams treats it as another name of Śiva, the god with a third eye in his forehead, and gives the feminine trinayanā as a name of the goddess Durgā. It belongs with the other three-eyed names of Śiva, such as Trilochan and Tryambak. Name lists give Trinayan as "three-eyed" or "Lord Shiva", matching the dictionary. The shortened Trinay is also used, and one name site reads it as "three paths", a sense we could not find in the dictionaries.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
