Vishram meaning
Vishram (विश्राम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Rest, repose, relaxation, calm, tranquillity
Vishram (विश्राम) means rest. Monier-Williams gives Sanskrit viśrāma as rest, repose, relaxation, calm and tranquillity, and also as a resting-place or a pause in verse, and it records the word as a name of several men. In Marathi and Hindi vishram is still the everyday word for a rest or a break. Name lists give "rest" or "calm", matching the dictionary. Vishram Ghat in Mathura, where Krishna is said to have rested after slaying Kamsa, carries the same word. A well-known bearer was the Marathi writer and film director Vishram Bedekar.
