Kaivalya meaning
Kaivalya (कैवल्य) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Perfect isolation; final emancipation of the soul, beatitude
Also used to mean: liberation, salvation
Kaivalya (कैवल्य) is Sanskrit kaivalya, built on kevala, "alone, absolute". Monier-Williams gives it as perfect isolation, abstraction and detachment, and especially the detachment of the soul from matter and from further rebirth, which is final emancipation or beatitude. It is the goal of Patañjali's Yoga Sūtras, whose last chapter is called the Kaivalya Pāda. Name lists give "liberation" or "salvation", which matches the dictionary. The name is mostly given to boys.
