Tribhuvan meaning
Tribhuvan (त्रिभुवन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
The three worlds, the whole universe
Tribhuvan (त्रिभुवन) is the Sanskrit tribhuvana, from tri, "three", and bhuvana, "world". Monier-Williams gives it as another word for jagat, the world or the universe, made up of heaven, the earth and the region between or below. It also records Tribhuvana as the name of a prince in the Kathāsaritsāgara and the Kashmir chronicle Rājataraṅgiṇī. Name lists give Tribhuvan as "three worlds", which matches. The name was carried by King Tribhuvan of Nepal, and it is used across North India, Maharashtra and Nepal, often alongside longer forms such as Tribhuvaneshwar.
