Mrinmoy meaning
Mrinmoy (मृण्मय) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage).
Made of earth or clay, earthen
Also used to mean: soft clay
Mrinmoy (मृण्मय) is the Bengali form of Sanskrit mṛnmaya, from mṛd, "earth, clay", and -maya, "made of". Monier-Williams gives "made of earth or clay, earthen", the word used for an earthen pot or house. In Bengal the idea has a devotional meaning: the clay image of the goddess Durga made for the Pujas is called mrinmoyee, "the one made of clay", and the Mrinmoyee temple at Bishnupur is dedicated to her. Name lists give "made of earth", matching the dictionary. The name is used almost entirely by Bengali families.
