Dhrubajyoti meaning
Dhrubajyoti (ध्रुवज्योति) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Assamese and Bengali usage).
Compound of dhruva, 'fixed, constant; the pole star', and jyotis, 'light'
Also used to mean: light of the pole star, steady light
Dhrubajyoti (ध्रुवज्योति) is an Assamese and Bengali name that joins Sanskrit dhruva and jyotis, "light". Monier-Williams gives dhruva as fixed, firm, constant and eternal, and as a noun the pole star, personified as Dhruva, the devoted boy of the Puranas who was given a fixed place in the sky. The name thus means "light of the pole star" or "steady light", as name lists say. Assamese and Bengali pronounce dhruva as "dhrubo", which gives the spelling Dhruba-.
