Jagmohan meaning
Jagmohan (जगमोहन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Charmer of the world (jag, 'world' + mohan, 'charming')
Also used to mean: one who attracts the world
Jagmohan (जगमोहन) is a Hindi compound of jag, the world (Sanskrit jagat), and mohan, "one who charms". Platts' Hindustani dictionary gives mohan as fascinating, captivating and charming, and as an epithet of Krishna, so the name reads as "charmer of the world". The older Sanskrit word mohana is stronger: Monier-Williams gives bewildering, infatuating and leading astray, and also lists it as a name of Śiva. Name lists give "one who attracts the world" and link it with Krishna. The fuller form Jaganmohan is used in South India.
