Manmath meaning
Manmath (मन्मथ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Love, amorous desire; the god of love
Also used to mean: cupid
Manmath (मन्मथ) is the Sanskrit manmatha, which Monier-Williams gives as "love" or "the god of love", and also "amorous passion or desire". It is one of the best-known names of Kāmadeva, whose story of being burnt to ashes by Shiva's third eye and later revived is told in the Purāṇas and in Kālidāsa's Kumārasambhava. Manmatha is also the name of a year in the sixty-year Jupiter cycle used in Indian calendars. It has long been used as a boy's name, as with the revolutionary Manmath Nath Gupta of the Kakori case.
