Pritam meaning
Pritam (प्रीतम) is a Hindu boy's name of Hindi origin (from Sanskrit).
Most beloved, dearest; a lover, husband
Pritam (प्रीतम) is the Hindi form of Sanskrit priyatama, "most beloved, dearest", the superlative of priya, "dear". Monier-Williams gives priyatama as dearest and, as a noun, a lover or husband, and the Hindi Shabdasagar records prītam with the same senses of husband and beloved. The word is common in Hindi and Punjabi love songs and folk poetry. Name lists give "beloved", the same as the dictionary. It is used by Hindu and Sikh families alike.
