Achal meaning
Achal (अचल) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, अ, it is a Mesh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Not moving, immovable; a mountain; a name of Shiva
Also used to mean: steady, firm
Achal (अचल) is the Sanskrit acala, from a-, "not", and cala, "moving": that which does not move. Monier-Williams gives it as an adjective, "immovable", and as a noun for a mountain or rock, since mountains are the things that never move; it also lists a name of Śiva, and the feminine acalā for the earth. Hindi still uses achal for something fixed and unshakeable, such as achal sampatti, immovable property. Name lists give Achal as "steady", "immovable" or "firm", matching the dictionary.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
