Achyut meaning
Achyut (अच्युत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, अ, it is a Mesh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Not fallen; firm, imperishable; a name of Vishnu and Krishna
Also used to mean: infallible, Lord Vishnu
Achyut (अच्युत) comes from Sanskrit acyuta, from a-, "not", and cyuta, "fallen", from the verb cyu, "to fall". Monier-Williams gives its senses as firm, solid, imperishable and permanent, and lists it as a name of Viṣṇu and of Kṛṣṇa: the one who never falls from his nature. In the Bhagavad Gītā, Arjuna addresses Kṛṣṇa as Acyuta when he asks him to drive their chariot between the two armies. Name lists give Achyut as "imperishable", "infallible" or "Lord Vishnu", all supported by the dictionary. It is used across India, and in the South often as Achyuth.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Vishnu.
