Vrushabh meaning
Vrushabh (वृषभ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Marathi usage).
Manly, mighty; a bull; the chief or most excellent; Taurus
Also used to mean: strong
Vrushabh (वृषभ) is the Marathi spelling of Sanskrit vṛṣabha. Monier-Williams gives the adjective as manly, mighty and strong, and the noun as a bull; in later Sanskrit the word also means the chief or most excellent of a group, and it is the name of the zodiac sign Taurus. In the Rigveda the bull is an image of power applied to gods such as Indra. Name lists give Vrushabh as "bull", "excellent" or "strong", in line with the dictionary, and some families choose it for a child born under Vrishabha rashi. It is a different word from Rishabh.
