Navaneethan meaning
Navaneethan (நவநீதன்) is a Tamil and Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Tamil usage).
One associated with navanīta, fresh butter: Krishna, the lover of butter
Also used to mean: Lord Krishna
Navaneethan (நவநீதன்) is built on Sanskrit navanīta, "fresh butter", which Monier-Williams defines simply as fresh butter and the Tamil Lexicon as butter and also newness. With the Tamil masculine ending it names Krishna, whose childhood thefts of butter from the cowherd women of Gokul are among the best-loved stories about him; the longer Navaneethakrishnan makes the link explicit. The northern form of the same word is Navneet. Navaneethan is used mainly by Tamil families in India and Sri Lanka.
