Shobhit meaning
Shobhit (शोभित) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Splendid, beautiful; adorned, embellished
Also used to mean: brilliant, handsome
Shobhit (शोभित) is Sanskrit śobhita, from the verb śubh, "to shine, look beautiful". Monier-Williams gives splendid and beautiful, and adorned or embellished by something. The same root gives śobhā, "brightness, beauty", and śubha, "auspicious", the source of the names Shubh and Shubham. Name lists give Shobhit as "adorned", "brilliant" or "handsome", and some add Lord Krishna, a link the dictionary does not record.
