Satyam meaning
Satyam (सत्यम्) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Truth, reality, veracity (neuter of satya); truly
Also used to mean: honesty
Satyam (सत्यम्) is the neuter form of Sanskrit satya, the form in which the word for truth is usually quoted. Monier-Williams gives satya as truth, reality, truthfulness and a solemn vow, and as an adjective true, real, genuine and honest; satyam on its own can also mean "truly". The word is familiar from the phrase satyam śivam sundaram, "the true, the good, the beautiful", and from India's national motto satyam eva jayate, "truth alone triumphs". Name lists give Satyam as "truth" or "honesty".
