Venkatesh meaning
Venkatesh (वेंकटेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, वे, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Mrigashira nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Lord of Veṅkaṭa; a name of Kṛṣṇa
Venkatesh (वेंकटेश) is Sanskrit veṅkaṭeśa, "lord of Veṅkaṭa", from Veṅkaṭa and īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams describes Veṅkaṭa as the sacred hill near Tirupati whose temple honours Kṛṣṇa or Viṣṇu as its lord. That temple stands on the Tirumala hill above Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, and Britannica calls it a fine example of Dravidian art and one of the most important pilgrimage centres in India. Its deity, Venkateswara, is worshipped as a form of Viṣṇu. Indian name lists give the name as Lord Venkateswara, matching the dictionary. Venkatesh and the fuller Venkateswara are used in South India, in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada families.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Krishna.
