Rajnath meaning
Rajnath (राजनाथ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, रा, it is a Tula rashi name (Chitra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Rāja 'king' + nātha 'lord, protector': lord of kings
Rajnath (राजनाथ) joins rāja, "king", with nātha, "protector, patron, lord". Monier-Williams notes that nātha is often placed at the end of names of gods and men, as in Jagannātha and Kedāranātha. Rajnath therefore means "lord of kings" or "king and protector", which is how name lists give it. It is used in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Its best-known bearer is Rajnath Singh, a former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh who later became India's Home Minister and then Defence Minister.
