Rajeshwar meaning
Rajeshwar (राजेश्वर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, रा, it is a Tula rashi name (Chitra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Lord of kings
Also used to mean: king of kings
Rajeshwar (राजेश्वर) is Sanskrit rājeśvara, made of rāja, "king", and īśvara, "lord, master". Monier-Williams gives it as "lord of kings" and records it as a man's name in the Kashmiri chronicle Rājataraṅgiṇī. It is a fuller form of the same idea as Rajesh. Name lists sometimes link it to Shiva, but the dictionary sense is simply a sovereign over other kings. In Tamil Nadu the name is usually Rajeswaran; Rajeshwari is the feminine form.
