Durgaprasad meaning
Durgaprasad (दुर्गाप्रसाद) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Telugu usage).
The grace or favour of the goddess Durgā
Durgaprasad (दुर्गाप्रसाद) joins the goddess's name, Durgā, with prasāda. Monier-Williams explains Durgā as "the inaccessible" goddess, wife of Shiva and mother of Kārttikeya and Gaṇeśa, and gives prasāda as graciousness, kindness and favour, as well as the food offered to a deity and shared afterwards. The name therefore means the goddess's grace or blessing. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana it is usually written as two words, Durga Prasad, and it is also used in North India.
