Saicharan meaning
Saicharan (साईचरण) is a Hindu boy's name of Hindi and Sanskrit origin (Telugu usage). By its first sound, सा, it is a Kumbh rashi name (Shatabhisha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
The feet of Sai (sāīṃ 'master, lord, holy man' + caraṇa 'foot')
Also used to mean: Sai's feet
Saicharan (साईचरण) joins Sai with caraṇa, "foot". Monier-Williams notes that the plural of caraṇa, added to a name, is a respectful way of referring to a venerable person, much as Hindus speak of taking refuge at a teacher's feet. Sai comes from the Hindi sāīṃ, "master, lord, holy man", which Platts traces to Sanskrit svāmin, and as a name it honours Sai Baba of Shirdi. Name lists give "Sai's feet". It is used mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, also written Sai Charan.
