Yadwinder meaning
Yadwinder (ਯਾਦਵਿੰਦਰ) is a Sikh and Hindu boy's name of Punjabi origin (from Sanskrit).
Lord of the Yadavas, an epithet of Krishna (Sanskrit yādavendra)
Yadwinder (ਯਾਦਵਿੰਦਰ) is the Punjabi form of Sanskrit yādavendra, formed from Yādava and indra, "chief". Monier-Williams gives yādavendra as "lord of the Yādavas", an epithet of Krishna, and the Mahan Kosh explains Yadu as the son of King Yayati from whom the Yadava clan, Krishna's lineage, descends. One name list instead gives "remembrance of God", reading yād, memory, but the spelling follows yādavendra. The best-known bearer is Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, the last ruling Maharaja of Patiala. It is a boys' name in Sikh and Punjabi Hindu families.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Krishna.
