Tridib meaning
Tridib (त्रिदिव) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage).
The third or most sacred heaven; heaven in general
Tridib (त्रिदिव) is the Bengali form of Sanskrit tridiva, made of tri, "three", and div, "sky, heaven". Monier-Williams defines it as the third or most sacred heaven, and more generally as heaven itself; in Hindu cosmology the gods dwell in the highest of three heavens. Name lists give the meaning simply as "heaven", in line with the dictionary. Bengali pronounces the final v as b, which gives the spelling Tridib. The name is used by Bengali families in India and Bangladesh.
