Nishchay meaning
Nishchay (निश्चय) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Certainty, conviction; resolution, resolve, firm purpose
Also used to mean: determination
Nishchay (निश्चय) is Sanskrit niścaya, from the verb niś-ci, "to ascertain, to decide". Monier-Williams gives it first as ascertainment, conviction and certainty, and then as resolution, resolve or a fixed purpose, as in "making a firm decision"; in Sanskrit rhetoric it also names a figure of speech. In Hindi niśchay is the everyday word for a firm decision, and niśchit means "certain". Name lists give "determination", "resolve" or "certainty", matching the dictionary.
