Qaiser meaning
Qaiser (قیصر) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin (from Latin).
Caesar; an emperor
Also used to mean: king
Qaiser (قیصر) is the Arabic and Persian form of the Roman title Caesar, which reached Arabic through Greek. Platts's Urdu dictionary gives qaiṣar as Caesar, an emperor or empress, and the general name for the Byzantine and later Turkish emperors; early Arabic writers used it for the emperor at Constantinople. Name lists give Qaiser as "emperor" or "king", matching the dictionary. In British India the same word appeared in the title Kaisar-i-Hind, "Emperor of India", used for Queen Victoria and later monarchs. English has the cousins Kaiser and Tsar from the same Latin word.
