Aikya meaning
Aikya (ऐक्या) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Oneness, unity, harmony, identity
Aikya (ऐक्या) comes from the Sanskrit noun aikya, built from eka, "one". Monier-Williams gives it as oneness, unity, harmony and sameness, and records its philosophical use for the identity of the individual soul, or of the whole universe, with the divine. The word is still current in Hindi and Kannada for unity, so the name is easy to understand in many parts of India. In Sanskrit aikya is a neuter noun; the long final -ā simply turns it into a girl's name. It is a short modern name with a clear meaning.
