Anbarasi meaning
Anbarasi (அன்பரசி) is a Tamil girl's name.
Aṉpu (love) joined with araci (queen): queen of love
Anbarasi (அன்பரசி) joins two everyday Tamil words. Aṉpu is love, which the Tamil Lexicon of the University of Madras gives as love and attachment, with friendship, compassion and devotion among its senses. Araci is a queen; the Lexicon explains it as the feminine of aracaṉ, king, and cites it from the Tēvāram. When aṉpu is joined to araci the final u drops, and the name becomes Aṉparaci, "queen of love", which is also how name lists explain it. The masculine counterpart is Anbarasan, "king of love", and both belong to the large family of Tamil names built on aṉpu, such as Anbu and Anbuselvi.
