Daim meaning
Daim (دائم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Continuing, lasting, enduring; perpetual, everlasting
Also used to mean: eternal
Daim (دائم) is the Arabic active participle of dāma, "to last, to continue". Lane's lexicon defines dāʾim as continuing, lasting, enduring or remaining, and also as incessant, perpetual or everlasting; used as an adverb, dāʾiman means "always". Steingass gives the word in Persian as permanent, perpetual and eternal. Name lists give "eternal" or "everlasting", which matches these senses. In India and Pakistan the name is also written Daaim or Dayem.
