Muzaffar meaning
Muzaffar (مظفر) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Victorious; very often successful or victorious
Muzaffar (مظفر) is the Arabic muẓaffar, from ẓafar, "victory". Lane's lexicon groups it with ẓafir as victorious, and gives muẓaffar the stronger sense of a man very often successful, one who does not seek a thing without attaining it. Name lists give the meaning as "victorious" or "triumphant", matching the dictionary. It was a royal name, as among the sultans of Gujarat, and towns such as Muzaffarnagar and Muzaffarpur carry it. The film-maker Muzaffar Ali, director of Umrao Jaan, is a well-known bearer.
