Falah meaning
Falah (فلاح) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Prosperity, success; safety; lasting well-being
Falah (فلاح) is Arabic falāḥ, from the root f-l-ḥ. Lane's lexicon defines it as prosperity and success, the attainment of what one desires, and also as safety and lasting well-being; it quotes the view that no Arabic word gathers more of what is good in this life and the next. Five times a day the call to prayer says ḥayya ʿalā al-falāḥ, "come to success", a phrase Steingass also records. Name lists give "success" or "prosperity", matching the dictionary. It is distinct from fallāḥ, with a double l, which means a farmer.
