Saad meaning
Saad (سعد) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Good fortune, prosperity, happiness; also auspicious, lucky
Saad (سعد) is the Arabic saʿd, from the verb saʿida, "to be happy, to prosper". Lane's lexicon treats saʿd as another word for saʿāda, which he defines as prosperity, good fortune and happiness, in religion as well as in worldly life; used as an adjective, it marks a day or a star as auspicious. The same root gives Saeed, "happy". The best-known bearer is Saʿd ibn Abi Waqqas, one of the earliest Companions of the Prophet and the commander of the Muslim army at the Battle of al-Qadisiyya.
