Gauravi meaning
Gauravi (गौरवी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Dignity, respect, honour (feminine of Gaurav, from gaurava)
Also used to mean: dignified, honourable, pride
Gauravi (गौरवी) is the feminine of Gaurav. Both come from Sanskrit gaurava, which Monier-Williams gives first as weight or heaviness and then, by extension, as importance, high value, gravity and respectability, and the respect shown to a person. In Hindi gaurav is the everyday word for pride and honour. Name lists give Gauravi as "dignified", "honourable" or "pride", which follow from those senses. The feminine form is modern and is not in the classical dictionaries; it is often shortened to Gaurvi.
